Responsibilities:

• Lead the safety department and participate in recruitment and training.
• Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and programs tailored specifically for the trucking industry.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver safety training programs for truck drivers and employees.
• Investigate and analyze safety incidents, accidents, and near-miss incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to trucking safety and proactively incorporate them into our software solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to our clients, addressing their safety-related inquiries and assisting with the resolution of any safety issues.
• Analyze safety data and generate reports to track safety performance, identify trends, and present actionable insights to management.
• Foster a culture of safety consciousness and promote safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Possess advanced knowledge of the English language.
• Be available to work evening shifts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Safety Manager in the trucking industry or a similar role, with a strong understanding of trucking safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SaaS software solutions and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance safety practices.
