Duties & Responsibilities:

• Book and schedule freight with premium rates
• Work with company drivers and owner operators
• Work both with 3PL's and shippers
• Establish a large book of business
• Transfer previously established accounts
• Manage approx. 5-7 units
• Identify priorities; utilize available resources effectively to meet these priorities; anticipate change and/or problems and reallocate resources when necessary
• Confidently make good decisions under timed pressure
• Communicate effectively with customers and drivers providing concise instructions or information
• Use effective listening skills to collect required information or to identify potential problems / warning signs. Escalate information when necessary
• Develop relationships with customers utilize relationships to influence others and gain willing cooperation
• Ensure loads are picked up and delivered on time by tracking driver activity
• Record and maintain files and records

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 experience in trucking and/or logistics is a MUST.
• Already established solid book of business
• Exceptional sales, management and marketing skills
• Has strong connections and works both with premium 3PL's and customers
• Proficient in English language (Bilinguals welcomed )
• Familiarization with DAT and other load boards is beneficial
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Outstanding communication skills with all levels of personal
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while ability to prioritize tasks
• Team player

Pay includes a flat salary plus % from gross, depends on experience.
