The Unit is a software development company focused on Sports betting, Gambling & iGaming industries, with headquarters in Ireland. Our team is delighted to have been collaborating with customers from across the globe since 2017.

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to build and maintain web applications. You'll work with our team to develop high-quality, scalable solutions and ensure efficient back-end functionality.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless integration.
Ensure applications perform efficiently and solve any arising issues.
Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
Manage databases and APIs.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
Strong knowledge of Ruby, Rails, and MVC architecture.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
Knowledge of Git and version control.
Testing experience with RSpec or MiniTest.

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
