Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Chisinau, Moldova office. This role is critical in owning US GAAP accounting processes while ensuring compliance with international standards like IFRS. If you’re a detail-oriented, solutions-driven professional eager to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and maintain real-time, accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards, supporting audits and tax-related activities.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with timely and precise reporting.
• Assist in the preparation financial reports that provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations, amortization of prepaid expenses, and management of fixed assets.
• Optimize accounting processes by identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting system automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance.
• Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed to support the team’s success.
